About Me

My name is Portia and I am a small hobby groomer based in Nelson, Lancashire. I recently graduated from college after gaining my 3 Distinctions in a National Diploma in Animal Management, of which included a grooming module. I completed a years work experience in a very successful local dog grooming salon, where I had learned much of what I know. I currently work in retail and the grooming is purely a much loved hobby which I do in my free time until I am in a position to groom full time.

I currently groom from home which often makes dogs feel far more comfortable and relaxed. I only ever groom one dog at a time as I believe being in a packed, noisy environment is often very stressful to the dogs and can make for an unpleasant experience, especially for a nervous dog.
